Herbert J. Tan, is an alumnus of the Pace University School of Law, White Plains, New York. After graduating in 1996, he worked as a contract attorney at MasterCard International in Purchase, New York for the Global Learning and Development Branch wherein he learned important aspects of Human Resources, employment practices and internal policies.

After two years, he then went to work for New Jersey's largest law firm, McCarter & English in complex mass tort civil litigation. Then, when the opportunity arrived, Mr. Tan took a position with the firm of Eldridge Hawkins, whose legal acumen includes more than 30 years of fighting for the rights of employees in the workplace.

Then, in April of 2000, Herbert Tan opened his office in Jersey City, New Jersey. One of his first notable cases was against the Hudson County Correctional Center wherein he established as one of the few attorneys to successfully attain a jury verdict against the County.

Finally in 2003, he relocated his offices to the historic National Newark

Herbert Tan has dedicated his life's work to representing the rights of workers through litigation and representation at disciplinary hearings. Eubert T. Hilario, is a graduate of the prestigious San Beda College of Law in Manila, Philippines.  Since his admission to the Philippine bar in 1999, Eubert practiced law concentrating in various legal fields. For six years, he was the legal counsel of Dealco Farms, Inc., once the Philippines’ largest He company in the meat industry. While still in the Philippines, Eubert had extensive experience in criminal, civil, administrative, annulment of marriage, and land registration cases. He also appeared and represented clients before the various courts and administrative tribunals in the Philippines.

In the United States, Eubert acquired experience working in law firms, including an internship with the Legal Services of New Jersey. He is keen of pursuing expertise in immigration law.

Eubert is admitted to practice law in the Philippines and the State of New York. 


Richard Rosen, is of counsel to the Tan Law firm.  A graduate of Touro Law Scholl, Richard has been admitted in the State of New Jersey since 1990.  His concentration is family law matters, municipal courts, expungements, name changes and general litigation.

Si Shen, is currently the firm's senior legal intern.  She graduated from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China with a degree in law.  After coming to the United States, she then attained a Masters in Law from Washington University in St. Louis. 
In China, she worked for the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, wherein she drafted important pleadings and contracts, performed due diligence reviews and drafted reports.  Also, she worked in Tsinghua University School of Law Legal Clinic.  There, she counseled clients, drafted legal documents and represented clients in lawsuits in the areas of employment law, constitutional law and workers compensation law.  Ms. Shen can be contacted at sofia@tanlaws.com
